Slowing Down, Sipping Cider & Giving Thanks

As the last leaves fall and the air turns crisp here in Parkdale, we find ourselves moving into a slower rhythm at Draper Girls Country Farm. The orchards are quiet now — the apples have been picked, the goats have gone home for the winter, and we’re shifting our focus from long days in the sun to warm cider by the fire.

Even though the U-Pick season has wrapped up, the country store is still open daily (now on winter hours — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting). Inside, you’ll find all the cozy goodness you need to bring a taste of the farm home with you: gallons of non-pasteurized cider, hard cider for the holidays, honey, jam, baked goods, and plenty of local favorites. It’s a great time to stock up before family and friends arrive for the holidays!

🥂 Cider Season is in Full Swing

If there’s one thing we never slow down on — it’s cider season. We are busy crafting batches of your favorite hard cider blends, from crisp and dry to sweet and fruity. Now’s the time to snag a few of your favorite growlers. Not a fan of hard cider - Our non pasteurized is great for your Thanksgiving table. Trust us — cider pairs perfectly with turkey, cheese boards, and cozy nights in.

🐐 Winter at the Farm

Our beloved goats have packed up and headed home for the winter to be with their goat friends, but don’t worry — they’ll be back in spring 2026, ready for another season of mischief and photo ops. In the meantime, our chickens are still here in their cute little house, clucking away and keeping things lively.
